The central topics - abusive mistresses, social/class upheaval, sexual manipulation, bigamy, & the ridiculous loss of life on the Titanic - wouldn't fit properly in a mid-grade frame. Apparently there's an abridged middle-grade version of this novel, & I'm sure it's horrible. ![]()
